Petit Vour is a vegan beauty box. I’m not vegan at all, but there’s something just uniquely special about this box. This is only my second month getting this box, but it’s quickly become one of my favorites.
15$ Per Month – Free Shipping
Ships Mid-Late in Month Via USPS
Each box contains between 4 and 6 vegan items, depending on the month. This months box contained four. I’d like to point out that the packing squigglies were moved around the box and the little bottle of Schmidt’s was melted. This is no indication of how Petit Vour packages their items as they’re normally quite snug.
Each box comes with an info card. This months theme is “Summer Loves,” and is a collaboration between Petit Vour and Logical Harmony. Maybe I should just start scanning this card as I can never get these straight. If you take a photo of your box and upload it and tag it, you have a chance to win 50$ for the PV shop. PV does have a program where you can earn credits to use in their shop when you review their offerings. They send out an e-mail telling you about the reviews after the boxes have been mailed.
Pelle Beauty Face Oil – Balance
There were a few variations of this item sent out, and I probably got the one most needed. It’s a tiny vial that doesn’t smell the best, but this particular blend is proven to moisturize and balance all skin types, and to leave behind a radiant glow. I used it on the patches of dry skin on my face and while it did heal the dry skin, it also left it uncomfortably oily because the oil simply didn’t dry. I had to eventually wipe it off, but I’m sure I’ll continue to use it.
LVX Nail Lacquer – Lolli
This polish is from LVX’s new Summer 2014 Collection, and is a very lovely pastel pink. I kept thinking I broke it because the square black cap removes to reveal a thinner circular cap with a textured grip for better control. It’s a lovely color and it reminds me a lot of cotton candy. I’d use it in one coat just for tint and shine.
Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant – Bergamot + Lime
This melted while in the box but quickly re-solidified. This was another item that came in random scents, and I am thrilled that I got this one. I won’t use this personally because I don’t much care for the lack of an applicator, but I do love the smell so much that I wish this was in a candle or perfume form. If this was in a traditional deodorant applicator I’d definitely give it a try. The information card gives the impression that most natural deodorants don’t perform well, but they promise that Schmidt’s changes that.
Modern Minerals Eye Shadow – Lola
This is hands down my favorite item in the entire box. I only own one other mineral eye shadow, which I got from Wantable, and I’ve used it nearly every day since. This however, is a much prettier copper color. It’s a shimmer shadow, and it’s one of several options you could have gotten from this box. The only issue with mineral shadows, or loose shadows in general, is you can really overdo the application if you’re not careful.
Lola swatch. Isn’t it just lovely?
Petit Vour just keeps getting better. This box was nice, and while I personally won’t use everything, I still very much loved the box and will stay a loyal subscriber for many a month. I think it’s the curation, because normally I’d complain about the skin care (c’mon you know I would) but there’s just something about this box that I lack the proper wording to explain. I urge you to try it for yourself. If interested, Petit Vour is 15$ per month.
